An impressive vaulted dining room with large walnut dining table which can accommodate 34 guests for candle lit dinners. This atmospheric room is perfect for celebrations, wedding parties or just an intimate dinner with friends.
However you choose to use it, each meal will served on our hand painted china for a truly exceptional experience. A breakfast banquet is served here each morning, including fresh pastries, fruit, cereals and locally made yoghurt and spreads. Of course we offer a full, cooked Scottish breakfast to set you up for the day.
The Ruthven Suite boasts a double aspect with windows to the North and West, while its bathroom has spectacular views to the the South and West. Other features include an unusual Provincial Half-tester king size bed, a writing table and has ample storage in the Dressing Room. An original Doulton of Paisley canopy bath is the centre piece in the large separate bathroom, which is big enough to relax on the day bed whilst enjoying the luxury toiletries.
The Carmichael Suite enjoys a triple aspect of North, East and South. Your bed is an Italian silver-gilt double bed frame, soft and incredibly comfortable. If you can bear to leave the bed, there are period chairs, from which to admire the views or simply sit by the fireplace and have a complimentary drink. The bathroom adjacent is very large and has a double french basin, a free standing cast iron bath and a generous walk in shower. Run a bath using the Penhalogan’s bath oils, dim the lights and enjoy a glass of champagne in front of the fireplace.
The most relaxing living room you’ll ever enjoy. Soft, comfortable seating, beautiful furnishings and a stately fireplace where you can light a log fire. Or retreat to the library next door, a cosy snug with flat screen TV and your own private bar. Between the first and second floors is the Study, complete with computer with internet access, and conference call facilities. The study can also be used as a single bedroom if required, and has beautiful views down to the Laich. Fenton Tower has a guest WI-FI network available throughout the building.
The Erskine Suite offers you a large double bed (which can convert to two single beds), complete with a small double redassier bench at the foot. The views are to the North and West. The TV is hidden in an 18th Century linen press. There’s also an ample Dressing Room, an unusual ebonised leather-topped desk, and plenty of room to relax. The bathroom features a fully-restored French antique copper bath, big enough to swim in! There’s also a shower, beautiful traditional style basin and luxurious dressing gowns for each guest to use.
The Stewart Suite enjoys a triple aspect of North, East and South. It offers you a large double bed (6’ x 6’6″ which can convert to two single beds), with a plaid-covered daybed at the foot. Painted 19th Century pot cupboards serve as bedside tables, while an immense Swedish armoire creates wardrobe space. The bathroom boasts original French double basins from a Montmartre house.
The Garret Suite. This beautifully appointed smaller suite, right at the top of the tower can be used as a double or twin room. It has its own private sitting area with outside access to the battlements where you can see across the hills to Edinburgh. Inside, the cosy room has a TV, storage and a bathroom with shower. This is an ideal place to hide away, with nothing but the glorious inland views for company.
